At NA DANÇA!, dance becomes a shared language - open, diverse, and deeply human. 

Within this vibrant space, Sam Goraya brought Odissi to life with clarity, devotion, and quiet strength. His presence carried the lineage of the form with integrity, offering not performance alone, but connection - between cultures, histories, and hearts.

Surrounded by artists from many traditions, Odissi found a natural home. Each movement spoke with sincerity, meeting the festival’s spirit of exchange and inclusivity with grace and respect. What unfolded was simple and powerful: tradition shared openly, and received with warmth. Together with Sonia Galvão and Rita Andrade, Odissi became a meeting of devotion, discipline, and cultural exchange - each gesture an offering, each step a bridge between Brazil and India.

Gratitude to NA DANÇA! for creating a space where such encounters can happen - where dance is not divided by borders, but united by purpose.
